Kristaps Porzingis out with ‘twisted knee’ for Tuesday night’s game against Warriors

Kristaps Porzingis is a name to watch as NBA trades go down

The New York Knicks won’t have star forward Kristaps Porzingis in the lineup Tuesday night for their showdown with the Golden State Warriors. Per Steve Popper of The Bergen Record, Porzingis twisted his knee in practice on Monday.

This injury will put a ton of pressure on the Knicks, who will also be without Kyle O’Quinn (calf injury).

So far this year, Porzingis has been tremendous when able to play, averaging 23.3 points, 6.7 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 2.3 blocks per game. He’s appeared in 41 of the team’s 47 games, having missed time previously while dealing with various minor injuries.
