DeMarco Murray will not play in divisional round vs. Patriots

As the Tennessee Titans continue their AFC playoff run on Saturday, they will again be without one of their top offensive weapons. Running back DeMarco Murray has been ruled out for the divisional round game against the New England Patriots.

The news is certainly not shocking. Murray missed the Wild Card Weekend win over the Kansas City Chiefs and reportedly has a torn MCL.

Murray’s 659 rushing yards trailed only Derrick Henry for the team lead (744), while his six touchdown runs led the team.

One would have to figure that with Murray out, Henry will again be a workhorse coming out of the Tennessee backfield. That went well during the team’s Wild Card Weekend win over the Kansas City Chiefs. In that game, Henry carried the ball 23 times for 165 yards with a touchdown.
