Church sends Vikings fans awesome invite after thrilling win

If you’re a Minnesota Vikings fan, there’s a good chance you were praying to the heavens above during the team’s playoff game against the New Orleans Saints this past weekend. Even those who are not all too religious use prayer as a way to hope for something to come to fruition. It happens all the time.

So when the Vikings had the ball at their own 39 yards line with 10 seconds left in the fourth quarter and down by one, we can estimate that hundreds of thousands fans were praying for a miracle. Once it happened, no one knew what to do with themselves. Case Keenum hit Stefon Diggs on a 61-yard walk-off touchdown, and the rest is pretty much history.

Now, the Our Lady of Lourdes church in Minneapolis is looking to cash in on whatever promises were made Sunday evening.

That’s all sorts of excellent.

For those looking to make good on their promise, the 8:30 service seems to be your best bet. But if you want to sleep in a tad, the 11:00 service works, as well.

It must be noted that we will be disappointed if the offering plate isn’t completely filled up this coming Sunday. Marcus Williams may have provided the medium for this miracle, but it was a miracle nonetheless.
