LOOK: Victor Cruz wearing Eli Manning jersey at Giants game

Prior to head coach Ben McAdoo being fired and Eli Manning reclaiming his starting job, several former members of the New York Giants were planning to silently protest Manning’s benching during the team’s game against the Dallas Cowboys this week.

While Manning is back under center and McAdoo has since been given his walking papers, at least one former member of the team will still hold court with a protest in New Jersey on Sunday.

Manning’s former favorite receiver Victor Cruz has showed up to the game sporting a Manning jersey.

It’s pretty awesome to see Cruz show this support for a quarterback that helped him become a Pro Bowler before a series of devastating injuries pretty much railroaded Cruz’s career.

Cruz last played for the Giants in 2016, recording 39 receptions for 586 yards. After signing with the Bears in free agency, Cruz was released by Chicago prior to the start of the regular season.

The receiver played seven seasons with the Giants, helping the team earn a Super Bowl title during his rookie campaign back in 2011.
