Auburn beat Georgia in blowout fashion during the regular season, prompting Gus Mazlahn to quip his team had “beat the dog crap” out of Georgia. On Saturday during the SEC Championship Game, Georgia exacted some revenge, winning 28-7. Then afterward, Bulldogs tight end Isaac Nauta got a bit of personal revenge against Malzahn in a post-game interview on the field.

That’s just sweet. Revenge is a dish best served cold, and that was undoubtedly an ice-cold line by Nauta — well-deserved, no doubt, but cold nevertheless.
In addition to getting their revenge, the ‘Dawgs are undoubtedly headed into the playoff, while Auburn will be on the outside looking in.
