Fox using casting call to make sure fans show up for Rams game

In large numbers, Southern California natives know full well what a casting call is all about. After all, Los Angeles is a transient population filled with those looking for a break in the acting field.

Maybe those who have fallen on hard times should heed this casting call from Fox NFL Sunday in preparation for the Los Angeles Rams and Philadelphia Eagles game on Sunday.

No really. It’s actually happening.

According to Project Casting, this is really a thing.

“We’re looking for LA’s biggest NFL fans to be a part of #NFLSunday’s Los Angeles Rams vs. Philadelphia Eagles Pre Game Show. Come out, bring your spirit, your best NFL gear & join us for NFL on FOXTHIS Sunday,” the announcement read.

This means that Fox is not necessarily sold on there being a large amount of actual Rams fans in attendance for their game against the Eagles at the Los Angeles Coliseum Sunday afternoon.

Despite boasting a 9-3 record and clearly being in the race for the No. 1 seed in the NFC, the Rams, much like the Chargers, have not drawn well in Los Angeles.

In fact, Rams head coach Sean McVay is having Jared Goff practice with a silent count in anticipation of Eagles fans outnumbering fans for the home team on Sunday.

That’s just all sorts of sad.
