Check out this awesome Luke Kuechly-themed Christmas tree

Someone is a huge fan of linebacker Luke Kuechly and the Carolina Panthers. He goes by the name Ethan Hurst and is an eight-year old from Ohio.

And the youngster decided to decorate his Christmas tree this year as a way to pay homage to the former NFL Defensive Player of the Year.

It’s pretty tremendous stuff.

From the helmet on top of the tree to Kuechly’s jersey number and the ornaments, the attention to detail is great here. It’s also pretty cool that the young kid’s mother is down with this.

“I was happy about it, because Luke Kuechly is a good role model with a positive image,” Hurst’s mother told the Charlotte Observer. “He’s a type of guy that would stop and help somebody on the side of the road, and it’s important for young boys to have someone like that to model themselves after.”

This, despite the fact that Ethan’s entire family are fans of Ohio’s NFL teams. Let’s see a raise of hands from those whose parents were this cool growing up. Nope, nobody?

It all started when his uncle got him a Kuechly jersey for Christmas last year. At that point, Ethan went from Cam Newton being his favorite player to the linebacker taking over that title.

Awesome job, Ethan.
