Bills-Colts tickets going for $4 on second-hand market

Buffalo Bills quarterback Tyrod Taylor in NFL Week 4

Those hoping to see some live, December football should head to Western New York for Sunday’s game between the Indianapolis Colts and Buffalo Bills. Tickets are going for insanely cheap prices.

“Tickets for the game are being resold for as low as $4 on the secondary market, including seats available for as little as $5 in the lower bowl of New Era Field,” Mike Rodak of ESPN reported.

Additionally, at the time of this writing, lower bowl seats behind the visiting sideline could be had for less than $30.

Stories like this aren’t exactly rare during this time of the year. December games between non-contenders tend to be fairly easy to find tickets to.

That said, this is not a classic late-season game between teams out of the race. The 3-9 Colts are well out of any playoff contention. But while a postseason appearance may not be likely, the 6-6 Bills — the home team — are well in the race for the AFC’s second wild card spot.

But, as Rodak mentioned, there are other factors at play. With Tyrod Taylor hurt, the fans in attendance may be treated to a healthy dose of Nathan Peterman, who had a disastrous first start in Week 11. On top of that, the weather promises to be cold and may even feature some snow.

So, it’s easy to see why ticket holders are staying away and just trying to get what they can for their tickets.
