Amari Cooper remains in NFL concussion protocol

Oakland Raiders wide receiver Amari Cooper, who suffered a concussion in Week 12 against the Denver Broncos, still remains in concussion protocol.

Cooper took a big hit and is also still dealing with an ankle injury that resulted from the tackle.

Fortunately it is only Tuesday. So this gives Cooper several more days to work through his injuries. In Week 14, the Raiders face the Kansas City Chiefs, who have dropped their last four games in a row.

Meanwhile, Oakland has picked up its pace despite losing Cooper, and sits at 6-6 with the same record as the Chiefs. The Raiders having Cooper on hand for this Sunday’s game would be a big boost.

The Chiefs just gave up 331 receiving yards to the New York Jets last week.
