The Cleveland Browns are 0-10 on the season following Sunday’s loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars. Rookie DeShone Kizer turned it over four times in the 19-7 loss.
He now has 22 giveaways thus far this season, the last of which was a prime example of just what’s wrong with this downtrodden franchise.

Not that it really matters at this point, but head coach Hue Jackson took time out of his post-game presser to name Kizer the team’s starter for its Week 12 outing against the Cincinnati Bengals.
Hue Jackson said QB Deshone Kizer will start next week vs. Bengals.

At the very least, Hue is sticking with a quarterback that he had benched in three consecutive starts earlier in the season. The other two options for this team — Kevin Hogan and Cody Kessler — simply boast no real upside.
With Kizer, at least the Browns know they can take the good with the bad. The team is 1-25 under Jackson since the start of last season. Wins don’t really matter right now. That’s the sad state of affairs in Cleveland.
It’s in this that Cleveland at least needs something positive from its quarterback situation over the final six weeks of the season. Whether Kizer can provide that remains to be seen.
