Nearly two weeks ago, Miami made its return to national prominence official with a 41-8 thumping of Notre Dame. On Wednesday, former Fighting Irish receiver Golden Tate paid off a bet he made a former Hurricane lineman, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.
A bet’s a bet 😂 @ShowtimeTate paying off his debt to @TheRock pic.twitter.com/s9h1rSaV9x

We can only imagine what would have happened had Notre Dame won. The idea of someone as big as The Rock in something like a leprechaun suit is rather entertaining. But alas, that’s something we can only imagine.
Tate had previously paid a similar bet off with another former Miami player and current Detroit Lions, teammate, Brad Kaaya.
My expression says it all. Here you go @kaaya323 😡🤬 #OneBetSettledOneMoreToGo pic.twitter.com/GPvh0W7Xuf

We can certainly commend Tate for honoring his bets.
