Dez Bryant supports suspended Ezekiel Elliott with comment on Instagram post

NFL Week was a struggle for Ezekiel Elliott and the Cowboys.

Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott started serving his six-game suspension ahead of Week 10. This means he is not to interact with his teammates or visit his team facility while he serves his suspension.

Missing his first game as a member of the Cowboys, Elliott posted this message to his Instagram account on Sunday.

While Elliott’s post is out there for the Instagram world to see, Dez Bryant probably should have avoided responding.

Now, it should be interesting to see if anything comes of Bryant communicating with a suspended teammate. Likely nothing will. Elliott didn’t mention Bryant or the Cowboys or anyone else on the team in his message, and he didn’t respond to Bryant’s message of support.

Elliott’s post drew nearly 200,000 likes and nearly 2,100 comments.

Unfortunately for Elliott, his Cowboys did not hold much of anything down on Sunday. The Cowboys suffered a huge blowout loss (27-7) at home against the Atlanta Falcons.

Elliott’s next appeal hearing will take place on December 1. As things currently stand, Elliott is slated to make his return to the Cowboys in Week 16.
