When his absolutely brilliant season came to an end, Cincinnati Reds first baseman Joey Votto made some new fans.
Votto found a couple of young Chicago Cubs fans who were sitting near the visiting dugout. Each of them left with a batting glove from the 2010 NL MVP, while Votto left Wrigley Field with some new devotees.

You just can’t beat a reaction like that.
Votto finished the year hitting .320/.454/.578 with 30 home runs. Even playing for a non-contending team, he may well win a second MVP award.
Regardless of whether that happens, he certainly won the day on Sunday, giving two young fans a day that they’ll never forget.
