Jets fans burned Tom Brady effigy before Sunday’s game

Tom Brady

It’s no secret New York Jets fans aren’t fond of New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, and some of them showed just how deep that hate runs before Sunday’s game.

During what we can assume were some rowdy tailgating sessions prior to the big AFC East rivalry game, some fans burned a Tom Brady effigy, complete with a Brady jersey. Because there is vulgar language in the video, we’ll refrain from posting it here. But if you want to see this display of fandom, click here.

Stunningly, this game features two first-place teams. New England and New York are both tied with the Buffalo Bills for first place in the AFC East heading into Week 6, so this game means a heck of a lot.

Perhaps just as stunning is the fact that the Jets jumped out to an early 14-0 lead, thanks to a brilliant acrobatic catch by Jeremy Kerley (watch here), who followed it up with a touchdown grab to later on in the first half.
