In a trade that shocked the NFL world on Tuesday, the New Orleans Saints shipped running back Adrian Peterson out west to the Arizona Cardinals. It did not take long for Peterson to pack his bags, strip former Cardinals running back Chris Johnson of his job and jersey number to make this video masterpiece.

Yes. We are kidding about a masterpiece. This is a terrible hype video that blasts some loud music while Peterson slowly walks onto an empty Cardinals practice field. Missing is a friendly team reception, and also any speed and strength heroics by Peterson. This video would be a lot more exciting if we saw Peterson breaking tackles or actually running with a football.
Instead he looks to have what we hope is a page from a playbook in hand. Let’s hope for the Cardinals’ sake that Peterson shows more spark when he takes the field for real in his Week 6 debut.
