Report: Suns working hard to move disgruntled Eric Bledsoe

Eric Bledsoe has not-so-subtly hinted to the Phoenix Suns in recent days that he’d like to be anywhere but where he’s at, and the team is reportedly working to make that dream a reality.

“The Phoenix Suns met with guard Eric Bledsoe before shootaround Monday morning and he was sent home at the end of the discussion, league sources told ESPN’s Chris Haynes.”

After Haynes reported the team would not play Bledsoe Monday night against Sacramento, ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reported Phoenix is actively engaged in trade talks to move him.

Bledsoe is averaging 15.7 points, 3.0 assists and 2.3 rebounds through the first three games of the season. He is in his fifth season with the Suns, who are in full-blown rebuilding mode and who just fired their head coach after their first three games.

Perhaps we should have all seen this coming, but it’s a surprise, nevertheless.
