Norman broke his rib in Week 4 and was originally expected to miss four weeks. It appears he is healing ahead of schedule and might suit up for a Monday Night Football divisional showdown against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Rib injuries are tricky and painful and the timeline for healing varies. It is good to hear Norman does not appear to be suffering any setbacks.

Through the start of the 2017 season, Norman has defended four passes, forced two fumbles and tallied 13 combined tackles. The Redskins could certainly use him back in the lineup when they face those high-flying Eagles a week from Monday.
