In September, Citi Field, the home of the New York Mets, played host to a series between the New York Yankees and Tampa Bay Rays. Hurricane Irma had displaced the Rays from their normal Tropicana Field home.
On Wednesday, the Tampa organization showed its thanks to the Mets by buying the New York staff lunch.
Dear @RaysBaseball,
We were happy to share our home with you for a series. Thank you for the generous gift of lunch for our staff. 🍕 pic.twitter.com/HhxmNpBcoe

The Rays responded to the Mets, alluding to a series between the two teams in 2018.
Our pleasure! Now… about which clubhouse we'll use next July… 🤞 pic.twitter.com/XruLpateBh

Tampa was actually on both sides of this during the Hurricane season. In the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey, the Rays opened up their Tropicana Field to host the Houston Astros.
