The Oakland Raiders are slated to host the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 6. Despite the current and devastating wildfires in the Bay Area, it appears the game will still take place in Oakland, according to this report by Scott Bair of NBC Sports.
NFL spokesman Michael Signora says the league continues to monitor Bay Area air quality heading toward Sunday’s Raiders-Chargers game. Staying in close contact with teams, local authorities. Game still scheduled for Sunday afternoon in Oakland.

Obviously, this plan could change if for some reason it was determined the air quality at the stadium was deemed unhealthy.
The Raiders will be looking to get back on course and snap a three-game losing streak with hopefully quarterback Derek Carr under center. As for the Chargers, they finally managed their first win on the road last week against the New York Giants.
They too will be hoping for success against a Raiders offense that was struggling with Carr on the field.
Beyond football, it is unfortunate that we have to report on the outlook for this particular Week 6 game. There is definitely a much more serious crises out there that those in Northern California have to focus on.
