Browns’ Kenny Britt on London: ‘I hated everything about it’

Cleveland Browns receiver Kenny Britt

The Cleveland Browns will make their way to London to take on the Minnesota Vikings this upcoming Sunday. And at least one member of the team is not happy about it.

Embattled wide receiver Kenny Britt just recently opened up about his London experience, indicating among other things that he dislikes the food and that there was nothing positive about the European capital city.

“I hated London, hated it,” Britt said, via ESPN. “I hated it with a passion.”

Well, that’s probably not going to sit too well with Londoners. But that’s also not the extent of Britt’s “hatred.”

“I hated everything about it,” Britt said. “I hated the flight. I hated us being there so long. I hated the flight back. I hated the food. You can ask my wife the same thing, and she’ll give you the same answer.”

London his hosting the winless Browns this week in the lead up to their game against the Minnesota Vikings. Sure a lot of NFL players are unhappy about the travel time from the United States across the Atlantic. It has been a major point of contention. Even then, to show this type of vitriol for a city makes absolutely no sense. Keep it to yourself, dude.

Britt has found himself in the Browns’ doghouse after signing a huge contract with the team during the spring. His most-recent incident has led to reports that the team might end up releasing the veteran altogether.

While his comments on London do nothing to change his status in Cleveland, they are still somewhat divisive and unnecessary.
