This didn’t take too long to get figured out. Just a few days after coming to terms with the Chicago Bulls on a buyout agreement, it looks like Dwyane Wade is headed to the Cleveland Cavaliers.

According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, Wade is nearing a commitment to sign with Cleveland with a deal potentially being finalized on Wednesday.

This comes following a report from Joe Vardon of Cleveland.com suggesting that Wade might have already opted to reunite with LeBron James in Cleveland (more on that here).

Wade, 35, averaged north of 18 points per game for the Bulls last season. He would likely join Isaiah Thomas as a starter in the backcourt for the three-time defending Eastern Conference champs.

Wade and James earned two NBA titles together as teammates with the Miami Heat. It looks like the former will now attempt to close out his NBA career with another title for a team that appears to be the class of the East once again.
