Unless LSU running back Derrius Guice has north of $50,000 laying around for a rainy day, this photo of him posing with his mother and a brand new car probably isn’t going to sit well with the NCAA.
Breaking: LSU RB Derrius Guice posted a picture to Instagram on Monday night featuring his mom and a brand new car. This was quickly deleted pic.twitter.com/zlr7fsJDZ6

As noted, Guice would quickly delete the photo. But as we all know, you really can’t delete anything from the Internet permanently. Guice is about to find that out the hard way.
This will likely lead to an investigation from the NCAA, ultimately focusing on whether Guice has received cash from either LSU itself or boosters of the program.
Needless to say, this was a major mistake on Guice’s part. It will be interesting to see what comes of it.
Amateur athletes not receiving pay for their hard work has been a major point of contention around both the college basketball and college football worlds.
Now, LSU might be embroiled in a bit of a mess itself.
