Reggie Wayne not interested in Peyton Manning for POTUS?

Reggie Wayne and Peyton Manning had a stellar on-field relationship with one another while they were members of the Indianapolis Colts.

Wayne, who retired following the 2014 season, recorded 1,070 receptions for 14,345 yards throughout his career. He’s seen as a first-ballot Hall of Famer and will be heading to Canton at some point here soon.

Though, for his part, Wayne doesn’t seem to be interested in Manning running for President. In fact, he might not vote for his former on-field bestie.

“Just because we’re teammates doesn’t mean that what you stand for is right,” Wayne said, via TMZ Sports.

That’s some pretty sobering stuff from Wayne there.

As it relates to Manning, there has been rumors that he might run for office at some point. He was seen chumming it up with President Trump recently and has been active in Republican politics for a while.

We can assume that Wayne doesn’t align politically with his former quarterback. Not that there’s anything wrong with that. Freedom of speech and the like.
