After being enshrined in Canton as a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame Class of 2017, Jason Taylor will start a new gig. He’ll be the lead analyst for Westwood One’s Sunday Night Football broadcasts.
He will join play-by-play man Kevin Kugler in the booth. Taylor will replace fellow Hall of Famer James Lofton, who had held that position since 2009.

Prior to calling Sunday afternoon games for Westwood One, Taylor worked in broadcasting, covering different shows on ESPN after retiring in 2011.
Lofton, himself a Hall of Famer, was a sideline reporter for Westwood One from 1999-2001 and rejoined the network in 2009.
Taylor certainly has notoriety, having been a great player for more than a decade. He also played for multiple teams. In between three separate stints with the Miami Dolphins as a player (1997-2007, 2009, 2011), he played for the Washington Redskins (2008) and New York Jets (2010).
