Lonzo Ball has been trying to spark a bidding war for his services as a front man, wearing Nike, Adidas and Under Armour shoes this summer.
The moves were purposeful by the Ball clan, which wanted to send a message to the big apparel companies. Lonzo Ball admitted as much, and so did his father in a recent exchange of information with ESPN’s Darren Rovell.
So it’s not surprising that Dwyane Wade was asked by a fan on Twitter if Lonzo should wear a pair of his WOW6’s this year.
A veteran of answering baited questions, Wade had the perfect, cryptic response.

This could be interpreted a couple of different ways, and that’s the beauty of it. Either Wade is being respectful of the young kid, who just won Summer League MVP honors, or he’s throwing shade at the entire Big Baller Brand.
Either way, Wade absolutely nailed this one.
