Retired NFL wide receiver Chad Johnson is not the only athletic member of his family. His 12-year-old daughter, Cha’iel, just set an new U.S. record for her age group for her 800m run on Wednesday. This news comes courtesy of TMZ Sports.
Cha’iel is on record for completing her run in 2:14:80 which was nearly five seconds faster than she ran the year before in the Jr. Olympics. Last year’s run earned her a gold medal, per the report.
Unfortunately, dad, couldn’t make the race. He did, however, post this awesome video footage of his daughter nailing the 800m run.
Johnson could not have captioned his Instagram post any better.

At the time of this article, the video has already drawn over 44,000 views. Also take note that there was nobody even close behind Cha’iel in the video.
