Steve Kerr has been sidelined for most of the NBA playoffs due to extreme pain and discomfort stemming from the back procedure he had two years ago.
The Golden State Warriors head coach was back on the bench for his team on Sunday night for Game 2 of the NBA Finals, well over a month after he was forced off the court. And when he was announced to the crowd at Oracle Arena, he received a thunderous standing ovation.

It was quite a touching scene that showed just how much Kerr is loved and appreciated by those in Northern California. We wish him a continuous recovery process and hope the worst is behind him, this time for good.
