Letroy Guion arrested, charged for DUI in Hawaii

Letroy Guion

Already suspended for the first four games this season, Green Bay Packers defensive lineman Letroy Guion was arrested Wednesday morning in Waikiki, Hawaii.

According to khon2.com, Guion was “arrested and charged with operating a vehicle under the influence of an intoxicant.”

“According to sources, Guion was pulled over around 4 a.m. by police on Kalakaua Avenue. He later failed a breathalyzer test.”

A player who’s been given multiple chances by the Packers, Guion’s four-game suspension stems from a failed PED test this offseason. He was previously arrested back in 2015 for possession of marijuana and a firearm.

This past season, Guion was a mainstay on Green Bay’s defensive line. He tallied 40 total tackles, starting 15 games for the Packers. He is set to play out the second of a three-year, $11.5 million contract that was signed before the 2016 season.

Almost certain to face further discipline from the NFL, it’s possible the Packers will wash their hands of Guion after this latest arrest.
