The Baltimore Ravens lost cornerback Tavon Young to a leg injury during an interception return in Thursday’s OTA practice, per Jamison Hensley of ESPN.
“Ravens cornerback Tavon Young, the team’s top nickel-back, was helped off the field by trainers after injuring his leg midway through practice. He was injured returning an interception.”
Harbaugh: Tavon Young suffered a knee injury after bumping into another player. Severity is unknown right now though.

Young was a fourth-round pick out of Temple last year and quickly made a name for himself as a cover man last year.
Tavon Young was really good last year. He's physical here at the LOS, stays in phase throughout the route & makes a great play on the ball. pic.twitter.com/2TS46co2YL

All told, Young was a big-time contributor who racked up 53 tackles and two interceptions for Baltimore as a rookie. If his injury is serious, then the Ravens will be in a pinch to replace him in the starting lineup and could be forced to rely on rookie Marlon Humphrey more than they might like right out of the gate.
