Kevin Durant to reporter: ‘You got to be better than that’

Kevin Durant Draymond Green press conference Game 2 NBA Finals

The Golden State Warriors were blown out in their attempt to close out the NBA Finals Friday night in Cleveland. In what was a drama-filled game chock-full of technicals and questionable officiating, Golden State just couldn’t keep up with LeBron James and the Cavaliers in what ended up being a 137-116 loss.

Following the game, Warriors stars Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant took to the media for a press conference. For this one reporter, it did not go as expected.

“You got to be better than that,” Durant said in response to a reporter who asked about a Game 3 situation in which Curry seemingly took a fake dump on the Cavaliers court following Durant’s game-winning three (more on that here).

The question seemingly came from Dan Feldman of Pro Basketball Talk, who Durant did say he liked. Still, it had to be annoying that the two had to answer this question following a disappointing Game 4 loss. Durant surely let Feldman know his thoughts.
