Philadelphia Eagles linebacker Jordan Hicks and his wife took off to Greece following their wedding. No one expected Hicks to include his team doctors in a video from Greece. But that’s exactly what has happened.
“According to a source, Philadelphia Eagles linebacker Jordan Hicks injured his hand on Thursday while on vacation in Greece. The source said that Hicks injured it while getting out of a pool,” Jimmy Kempski of Philly Voice reported on Friday.
Hicks has yet to have x-rays on the hand, but did go on to send a video of the injury to team doctors back in Philadelphia. The Eagles are not too worried about it being serious, but it’s still a rather alarming situation.
Though, we’re pretty sure that Hicks and his new bride are more bummed about the accident than the Eagles. At the very least, it was only the hand.
Hicks, 25, recorded 86 tackles, 11 passes defended and five interceptions in his first season as a starter. Let’s hope this doesn’t keep him from the start of training camp.
