The Golden State Warriors have been without head coach Steve Kerr for the majority of the 2017 NBA Playoffs, but he might be in the building Sunday for Game 1.

Obviously, having Kerr in the arena for the game would be an uplifting circumstance for the Warriors. He’s their leader and the man who helped the players learn how to take accountability for themselves on the court. Because of that, Golden State has continued rolling through the playoffs without its leader. But no doubt his physical presence has been missed.
He attended his first practice with the Warriors on Saturday since taking leave due to complications of his back injury that required surgery two years ago.
Kerr is currently on the road to recovery after undergoing a procedure to take care of some spinal fluid leakage that was causing significant side effects, like crippling migraine headaches.
