Raptors giving away least inspiring shirts ever for Game 4

The Toronto Raptors are desperate for something positive to happen in their playoff series against the Cleveland Cavaliers.

They’re already down three games to none, having just watched LeBron James almost single-handedly destroy them in the fourth quarter of Game 3. Star point guard Kyle Lowry is likely not going to be able to play in Game 4, having aggravated his already tender ankle trying to get up for Game 3.

It’s most definitely desperation time. And as we know, desperate times call for desperate measures. But in the case of the Raptors preparing for Game 4, their desperate move to hopefully entice their fans to get hyped fell flat on its face.

Take a look at these horrible giveaway T-shirts that are awaiting fans at Air Canada Centre.

First of all, punctuation matters. It really does.

It seems like there should be a comma after “We,” or at least that there should be another word like “are” in there. Heck, the way these are presented a question mark at the end (We the north?) is more apt than what’s there now.

Then there’s the matter of aesthetics. Plain white T-shirts with horrible, all-caps font. It’s just a bad look. There is nothing inspiring about these whatsoever.

We’re not sure what the Raptors were thinking here. Maybe they were just like, “Screw it, we already know we’re getting swept but the boss said to make T-shirts, so here are some T-shirts.”

That’s pretty much the message these shirts send.
