Fournette and his mother certainly have a close relationship. She revealed on the red carpet that she sends him a scripture verse every single day, and it was clear from his response that her messages are well received.
As the No. 4 pick of this year’s draft, the new Jacksonville Jaguar running back will be bringing in quite the haul of cash. Ezekiel Elliott was drafted in the same slot last year and is now one of the highest-paid running backs in the league (details here).
Jacksonville certainly has high hopes for Fournette, who they view as a player of Adrian Peterson’s caliber. Now he has to go out and prove he’s worth all the money and perform on the field.
