Jamaal Charles is the newest member of the Denver Broncos, and apparently this fulfills a lifelong dream for the former Kansas City Chiefs running back.
If it sounds strange, it kind of is given the longstanding rivalry between the two AFC West teams. However, Charles recently revealed John Elway was a a favorite player of his growing up and that he “always wanted to play for Denver.”

This isn’t just Charles saying something for the sake of pleasing his new team and its fans, either.
As his old college teammate pointed out on Twitter, Charles legitimately has been an Elway fan for ages.

No doubt Chiefs fans feel betrayed, and we cannot wait to see how Charles is received at Arrowhead Stadium later this year when the Chiefs host the Broncos. It should be wild.
