Worker at NFL Draft site in Philadelphia in stable condition after fall

As the NFL world prepares for its annual draft in Philadelphia later this week, a scary situation occurred at the site on Saturday. A man fell 30 feet while working on stage at the Philadelphia Museum of Art Saturday afternoon.

“The 27-year-old man was taken to Hahnemann University Hospital where he is currently in stable condition,” a local NBC News affiliate reported.

The worker was reportedly transported to the Hahnemann University Hospital where he is said to be in stable condition. He is expected to make a full recovery.

The 2017 NFL Draft is set to kick off in Philadelphia with the first round being held on Thursday from the stage in which this accident took place. An estimated quarter million people are expected to attend the three-day event, the first draft Philadelphia has hosted since 1961.
