Robin Lopez has hilarious take on brother nearing Nets’ scoring record

Twins have special relationships. They can sometimes feel when the other one is going through pain. They are almost literally tied at the hip. This is no different when it comes to Robin Lopez of the Chicago Bulls and his twin brother, Brook Lopez of the Brooklyn Nets.

Though, the two surely find a way to clown on one another at every possible turn. Robin ratcheted this up recently by making fun of what would be an otherwise tremendous accomplishment for Brook.

Okay, that’s pretty funny.

It’s not like the Nets’ history compares to that of the Chicago Bulls, Boston Celtics and Los Angeles Lakers of the world. In existence since 1967, the Nets have not earned a championship in over 40 years. Heck, here’s a franchise that has won a total of 40 games over the past two seasons.

With that said, this is still a pretty big accomplishment for Lopez, who is 35 points away from breaking Buck Williams’ franchise record for total points scored. Considering the likes of Jason Kidd, Vince Carter and Julius Erving have suited up for this franchise in the past, that’s no small accomplishment.

Just don’t expect Robin to be terribly impressed.
