One of the more controversial picks of the 2017 NFL Draft came when the Cincinnati Bengals selected Oklahoma running back Joe Mixon in the second round.
How many other teams would have done the same? According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, not many.
In an anonymous survey over past week with all 32 NFL teams, only four said they would consider drafting RB Joe Mixon. But only takes one.

Mixon’s pick was controversial as he not only had an assault against a woman in his past, but it was caught on tape. Violence, specifically violence against women, is taken more seriously now than it has been in the past. Still, if someone is talented enough, someone will give him a chance to play.
Clearly, Mixon’s talent is NFL worthy. At the end of the day, that’s what mattered to the Bengals.
