Simms had previously made it clear he wasn’t done working in broadcasting after being bumped for Tony Romo in the live booth next to Jim Nantz.
A consummate professional, we expect Simms to handle the demotion gracefully. He will be joining the likes of Boomer Esiason, Jim Brown and others on the show, rounding out a star-studded crew. He replaces Tony Gonzalez, who left his position last month.
