A number of things can disrupt a tennis match. Bad weather? Sure. Dangerous bugs? It’s been known to happen. A couple from a nearby apartment having loud sex? Apparently so.
Frances Tiafoe and Mitchell Krueger were in the middle of the second set when some amorous noises were heard. In between points, Krueger hit a ball towards where the noises were coming from, while the commentator thought that someone was watching adult movies.
He was wrong.
It turns out, it was a real couple in “an apartment across the lake.” At one point, Tiafoe yelled “it can’t be that good.”
