LeBron James and Cavaliers teammates partied in Miami after brutal loss to Hawks

LeBron James

The Cleveland Cavaliers allowed the Atlanta Hawks to engineer a historic fourth-quarter comeback Sunday and ultimately lost in overtime. So what did LeBron James and Co. do to salve their wounds? They partied it up in Miami, of course.

According to TMZ Sports, James, Tristan Thompson and J.R. Smith flew directly to South Beach after the brutal loss and took their leisure at LIV nightclub in Miami. And there’s video proof to back that claim up.

Though it’s not surprising as it’s a back-to-back road game, James isn’t expected to play Monday night when the Cavs take on the Miami Heat, per the report. Though, perhaps this trip to the club late Sunday night will have something to do with that, as well.

Given the fact that Cleveland is tied up with the Boston Celtics atop the standings in the east with just a few days remaining, maybe this wasn’t the best idea. Though, on the flip side, mayhaps some late-night clubbing is exactly what these guys needed to recharge their batteries.

Who are we to judge?
