Hall of Fame coach Joe Gibbs guided the Washington Redskins to three Super Bowl championships during the 1980s and 1990s. He’s a legend who was on the winning side of his team’s bitter rivalry against its NFC East foe, the Dallas Cowboys, as often as not.
So when the current NASCAR team owner was approached by a Cowboys fan before Sunday’s O’Reilly Auto Parts 500 in Texas, we can only speculate he was a bit perplexed by the man’s request.
The fan, wearing a Cowboys hat, asked Gibbs if he’d pose for a picture. The legendary coach offered a tremendous response.
Fan wearing Cowboys hat asked Joe Gibbs for a pic. Gibbs turned fan's hat around and handed him a Redskins Super Bowl ring to pose with. 🤣
