The Minnesota Vikings did a bit of plundering against their NFC North rival Green Bay Packers by signing Datone Jones in free agency.

Jones, a former first-round pick by Green Bay out of UCLA in 2013, never quite lived up to the expectations the club had of him during his stay. He might have been a bit out of position in Dom Capers’ 3-4 scheme, and he’ll have a chance now to prove he’s not a bust playing in a 4-3 for Mike Zimmer.

In his four seasons with Green Bay, Jones appeared in 59 games but started just seven. He tallied 80 total tackles and nine sacks in those four years.
