Report: Packers bring back RB Christine Michael

Christine Michael

The Green Bay Packers, needing help at the running back position, have reportedly brought back Christine Michael.

Originally a second-round pick out of Texas A&M by the Seattle Seahawks, Michael had his best season as a pro last year playing for the Packers and Seahawks. He ended up rushing for 583 yards and seven touchdowns, adding 107 yards and one touchdown on 22 receptions.

To this point in his career, Michael has yet to truly live up to the potential the Seahawks thought he had when they drafted him. He’ll certainly get his chance to shine in Green Bay this year. His top competition at this point before the draft is receiver/running back Ty Montgomery, who was very good when the Packers were in dire straits last year.
