NFL Draft prospect Fabian Moreau injured during UCLA pro day

Fabian Moreau

Former UCLA cornerback Fabian Moreau appeared to suffer an injury to his chest doing the bench press Tuesday during his pro day.

According to Courtney Fallon of NFL.com, the extend of Moreau’s injury is unknown at this time.

Moreau is one of many talented cornerbacks in this very deep 2017 NFL Draft class who was expected to bet selected early, likely on Day 2 of the upcoming draft in Philadelphia.

As a four-year starter for UCLA, Moreau missed significant time during the 2015 season with a Lisfranc injury that required surgery. He also missed some games this past year with a shoulder injury.

Still, Moreau managed to participate in 38 games during his tenure with the Bruins, registering 149 tackles, three interceptions and 21 passes defended. Depending on how severe his injury is, this setback could cost the young man some draft stock and money in April.
