The West Michigan Whitecaps have an amazing promotion for the community to purchase Opening Day tickets. And it involves puppies.
The Class-A affiliate of the Detroit Tigers will be offering fans an opportunity to purchase Opening Day tickets that will be hand delivered by puppies, according to MiLB.com.
There are some specifics, however.
• Fans MUST CALL to order tickets between 8:30 am and 12:00 pm on March 23
• All ticket purchases must be for Opening Day
• Tickets must be delivered within a 15-mile radius of Fifth Third Ballpark
• Deliveries will be made the same day between 12:30 pm and 4:30 pm
• First 25 orders qualify; minimum purchase of two or more reserved seats
They also wanted to be clear you cannot keep the puppies. You are limited to “pictures and cuddles only.” Still, this might be the cutest promotional event we have ever seen coming from a minor league team.
