Bills pool table sells at auction for a cool $8,000

The Buffalo Bills’ pool table hit the auction block on Thursday and quickly sold for a hefty $8,000, per TMZ Sports. The proceeds will reportedly go to the Buffalo Bills Foundation.

As part of some housekeeping tasks by new head coach Sean McDermott, the pool table housed in the team’s locker room was removed. Guard Richie Incognito said he supported the decision by McDermott because the team is here “to win football” and not play pool.

As for the pool table, it is cool to see that somebody will be putting it to good use. It is quite amazing looking and should be quite the conversation starter wherever it is housed.

Perhaps the Bills removing what McDermott must have considered a distraction will get them more focused this season. The Bills have not seen the playoffs since the Bill Clinton Administration, a span that has included nine different head coaches.
