Andrew Bogut injured in first court appearance with Cavaliers, thinks he broke his leg

Andrew Bogut

Andrew Bogut finally got into his first action with the Cleveland Cavaliers Monday night, but his night was cut short when he suffered an injury.

Here’s the play in which Bogut was injured.

It’s not yet known exactly what Bogut’s injury was, but he was clutching his left ankle/lower leg area immediately after he hit the ground. He was then helped off the court and shuttled into the locker room, and he was not able to put any pressure on his leg.

After he fell, Bogut was heard saying, “I think I broke it!”

Bogut signed with the Cavaliers after clearing waivers following his release from the Dallas Mavericks. He wanted to play for a contender and got his chance. Hopefully he’ll still have it, pending what will likely be an immediate X-ray.
