Don’t let his smallish demeanor and joking ways fool you, Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr can be a hot head. He’s gotten into it multiple times with officials during his two-plus year stint as the Warriors’ head coach.
Though, nothing he has done in the past compares to what we saw during Saturday night’s loss to the Sacramento Kings. Kerr absolutely flipped his lid after a couple calls went the Kings’ way. It was entertaining. It was fantastic. And it forced Kerr to take an early shower.

In news that can’t be considered too surprising, the NBA fined Kerr $25,000 for his verbal tirade directed at the officials in the video you see above.
Warriors coach Steve Kerr fined $25K by the NBA for verbal abuse of refs & not leaving he court in a timely manner during loss at Sac 2/4.

It goes without saying that Kerr earned this fine.
As upset as he might have been, the Warriors played horrible basketball in a 109-106 overtime loss to the Kings. Two bad calls doesn’t change that fact. At 43-8, Golden State now goes back to the drawing board. Let’s just hope Kerr can keep his cool from here on out.
