Report: Patriots double down on Gronk, re-sign Glenn Gronkowski

Trevor Ruszkowski-USA TODAY Sports

Two Gronks is better than one, right? Apparently, that’s what the New England Patriots think after reportedly bringing back Glenn Gronkowski to join brother Rob.

An undrafted free agent out of Kansas State, Gronkowski was picked up by the Buffalo Bills and Patriots last season. He only appeared in one game and didn’t register any stats as a fullback with the Bills.

The 6-foot-3, 234-pound fullback is a traditional fullback who played three years for the Wildcats before moving up to the NFL in 2016. He will likely have to work his tail off to land a spot on New England’s active roster next year, though the experience of playing with his brother (who he claims isn’t nearly as smart as he is), even if just for the preseason, should be awfully sweet.
